I saw one review that was awful but bought the table and chairs anyway because of the price. Everything was in the boxes and in good shape. I put it all together very quickly and easily.
The only thing was that on both chairs one leg was about an 1/8th of an inch shorter then the others so they wobbled a bit. I had some padded tape (not sure what the real purpose for it is) and cut a piece to go under that leg,it worked great and you can't see it. If I had the table in a room with carpet I probably wouldn't notice the wobble but it is in a room with hardwood floors.
Overall I am very happy with it. The construction is very sturdy and my 21 month old loves them!

Easy Assembly, Great Table July 12, 2010

Bought this table for my 19 month old. Assembly was very easy, only needed an allen wrench and a phillips screwdriver to assemble. It probably took me 30 minutes of less to assembly, with the help of my 19 month old son. The table seems to be sturdy, I did scratch 2 of the legs during assembly when the screwdriver slipped out of my hand, so this table will show some wear but with children who wouldn't expect the table to show wear. I will add felt to the bottom of the chairs to help stop any scratches on the floor. My son is almost too small for the table but will grow to fit it in no time. This table is a great transition from high chair to regular table.
Definatly loved the price of $99.00 as I caught it on special when it was available from amazon, which gave me free shipping.

Lipper fully discloses the size of the table as well as the seat height to the table height. Some reviewers said their 2-3 year olds like the table, but I see this as more of a child's set than a toddler set. We had to go through two sets as the first set came incomplete and badly packaged, along with damage to the corner of the tabletop. It almost looked like someone returned it, and it was reshipped either by Amazon or Lipper. In this video, you'll see some issues we had with what we thought was pretty poor quality (drilling a hole, then redrilling and covering up the initial mistake), a slight wobble (annoying to the anal like my husband!) and differences in chairs in case you are considering buying additional chairs. I hope this helps! Overall, the product I'd rate 3 stars, but quality control seems poor enough to rate it two stars - not fun for your frustration level if you get a bad set - and BOTH our sets had issues.

I did a lot of research before choosing this table and chairs set, and I am completely satisfied with my decision. The set was easy to assemble, it looks lovely and incredibly sturdy. The chairs are so sturdy, I sit at the table with our daughter (and I'm not exactly small).
Our daughter is almost three years old and loves her table and chairs. She eats meals at it, colors and puts puzzles together. I like that she has somewhere to sit like an adult, rather than play on the floor all the time. She is tall for her age, so I was concerned about buying a set that she would grow out of quickly, but this fits her fine with plenty of room to grow.
The storage areas below the table top are nice, but not as convenient as I thought they might be. We can store a few coloring books in there but don't expect it to be a great storage solution. If anything expect to find things stashed away when you aren't looking.
My only disappointment is that the wood seems kind of soft; we put a pretty good scratch on the top of the table the first week by dragging something across it that had a sharp point. Now I am just careful to keep a place mat or something on the table if she is writing with pencils, just in case.
All in all for the price this is a quality set. It looks very nice with our furniture, and she gets a lot of use out of it. Very happy with this purchase.
